Farewell Dinner

First Class Table Setting

Creamy Rice with Shrimp & Asparagus

The Tiramisu before the finishing touched were added

The Pièce de Résistance

Last week, I took a road trip to Atlanta with a couple of my friends.  When I got home my parents acted like I had been gone for a year or something lol…hello it has only been a couple of months (but they are so cute).  So at the end of the week, my mother planned this special going away dinner and words cannot describe how good it was.  She made this creamy rice dish with shrimp and asparagus and a side salad.  But the Pièce de résistance was the dessert, which was a remake of the classic Tiramisu recipe. Maybe I should leave home more often!

Spring has Sprung!!!

I know it’s been a while since my last post, but school has been consuming my life for the past couple of months :(. But it’s official . . . Spring is finally here!!!  Last month I went out with one of my friends to this new restaurant BD’s Mongolian Grill.  OMG the food was amazing.

I love being able to pick and chose what ingredients should be put in my meal and watching as it’s cooked right in front of my eyes.  Although the food was extremely appetizing, the drinks are what I remember the most.

I had a Pomegranate Lemonade and boy was it refreshing!!! So, if you can find a Bd’s Mongolian Grill around I suggest you go and try it for yourself because it’s both affordable and delicious.
